Bosque de Matasnos’ vineyards sit at 950m (3,100 ft) from sea-level in the primest subzone of the appellation on sandy and clay soils. A total of 18 Ha. planted with vines up to 55 years old and controlled yields of less than 3,000 Kg. per hectare. Every detail is carefully watched at this top-quality producer that has taken the Spanish wine industry by storm. BMA sells 80% of its production in Spain at the country’s top restaurants.

Located in Spain’s Northcentral plateau about two hours north of Madrid. Continental weather with little rainfall, dry summers and harsh freezing winters. Unique soil with alternating layers of limestone and marl. Spain’s most renowned appellation for hearty reds and home to the country’s most expensive releases like Vega Sicilia and Pingus.
